MAC Spice Dupes Here are our dupes for MAC Spice, which is a slightly warm-toned, medium-dark brown with a satin finish. It is a limited edition lipstick that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.1 oz. Eyes: too faced natural eyes (heaven to set, honey pot on lid), too faced natural matte (lace teddy in crease), zoeva blanc fusion (joy in a box as transition), mug x mannymua palette (frappe), CP dream St. (elfish in outer v); kiko extra sculpt volume mascara, cp eyeliner in mr. Lips: Mac lip pencil in spice and Mac velvet teddy lipstick.
So, like most people my love for 90's lips started probably last year after seeing Kylie Jenner's endless flawless Instagram snaps. Having tried out a few high end and drug store products I have finally found my holy grail 90's lip products and they come in the form of yep, you've guessed it…MAC!!
I heard that Kylie Jenner uses Whirl so of course I had to purchase whirl! Whirl has a darker, plum tone to it in comparison to Spice which has a more brown undertone. What I love about the MAC lip liners is that they are super long lasting and low maintenance. You can where them on their own as a natural day lip look or add lipstick and a gloss on top for a more glam look. I tend to alternate between wearing Spice or Whirl and then add either Velvet Teddy or Siss on top to add more dimension to my lips.
I bought Siss a while ago, primarily because I heard a lot of positive reviews about how good the colour looks on darker skin tones. I wouldn't wear Siss on it's own, however on top of darker lip liners it looks perfect.
Velvet Teddy is the newest lip stick to my collection and unsurprisingly I LOVE it. This lipstick on top of Spice or Whirl is perfection. The fact that it is a matte colour as well is even better. This is definitely my go to lipstick for that classic 90's look. What's so great about this lipstick is that it can be worn by any skin complexion. It has 100% become my favourite MAC lipstick thus far.
